My name is Casper Hansen, I’m 43 years old living in the middle of Jutland in Denmark, where I hunt salmon and seatrout in my homewaters.

I have been tying flies for more than 30 years and it’s a very big part of my passion for flyfishing. My specialty is modern Scandi-style salmonflies.

I have a huge respect for original patterns, but I always
try to optimize my flies for my fishing with new ideas and new materials.

My inspiration comes from my fishing in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Russia and Argentina but also from innovative flytyers around the world.

At the BFFI I will mainly be tying scandi-style hairwinged tubeflies mostly on tubes.
