My name is Mark Roovers and I started fly fishing and fly tying thirty-four years ago.
I am an all round fly-tyer and love to fish in the natural areas in the south of the Netherlands (Biesbosch). I also like to fish in Norway, Sweden and Denmark and take several fly-fishing trips a year.
In the Netherlands I like to fish on Seabass, Asp, and Carp and in other countries I like to fish on Trout, Grayling and Seatrout. Besides fishing, I enjoy giving workshops to help the novice fly tyer get started and enjoy the first patterns and photos of the first fish caught.
What I like best about this hobby is sharing knowledge and empowering each other in a friendly atmosphere.
See my flyting patterns an skills which I would like to show on the BFFI 2024, during the BFFI I will tie my latest patterns. Hope to see and meet you on the tyers-row!
