I live in the beautiful Vale Of Clwyd, North Wales. I started fishing at the age of 9 on some local rivers and small stillwaters.  As I got older I became more and more interested in Angling and I have been fortunate enough to fish for my Country, Wales, at Youth level, having been capped in 2022 and 2023. 

I enjoy a variety of fishing disciplines from coastal bass fishing to elegant small streams for wild, brown trout. 

I started tying flies at about 10 years old, when I attended my local angling club’s, fly tying social evenings.  In July 2017 I was delighted to win the Junior Fly tying competition at the Rhug Country Fair.  It was at this event that I met Nickolas Wright of Deer Creek.  In December 2018, Nick asked me to join his youth pro-team talent pathway, followed by joining the full pro team in October 2021. 

I enjoy tying a wide range of different patterns from pike and saltwater, through to delicate river flies. 

I am a keen user of Social Media, where I find inspiration from many talented tyers.  I am also part of the first generation who have been fortunate to learn from YouTube and moving pictures rather than a book.  I also have to say thank you to many of the well known faces in the fly tying world for their assistance over the years.  I love to attend fishing and fly tying shows.  I have been very lucky to have tied flies on trade stands at the BFFI over the years and on Tyers Row 2024. I am really looking forward to being able to show my skills and share some of my knowledge with you at BFFI 2027.
