I’m 29 years old and hail from northwest Wales near the town of Dolgellau. I am a sea trout fly fishing fanatic and guide. My journey with fishing began on small streams and tributaries near my home at the tender age of 8. It was at 13 that I discovered my passion for fly fishing for sea trout. Shortly after, I delved into the art of tying flies specifically for sea trout and salmon.

Throughout my fly fishing journey, I developed a deep admiration for brown trout, grayling, and bass. I found myself tying a variety of different flies to entice these diverse species of fish. My angling adventures predominantly take place on wild lakes and rivers in Wales.

While I enjoy various forms of fishing, my primary passion lies with sea trout and salmon. From a fly tying perspective, my main interest revolves around crafting sea trout flies. I have created my own patterns that have gained recognition in the sea trout fishing community. These patterns have been featured in prominent publications such as the Fly Fishing Journal, Trout and Salmon, and Fly Fishing and Fly Tying Magazine.

Furthermore, I am honoured to be a part of the Raid Zap Resin Pro Team. These affiliations have provided me with opportunities to collaborate with like-minded individuals and contribute to the fly fishing community through my expertise and innovations.
