The Premier Fly Tying Show

Paul Black

Paul Black

Born and raised in Derry in Ireland. Now living in Glasgow. My style of tying is rather unorthodox.

I like to push the boundaries with regards to what most tyer’s consider the norm. Long hackles. Vibrant colours. Lots of movement. I also pride myself on my flies fish catching abilities. I’m a strong believer in tying with purpose and not just for a fancy photograph.

My main fishing focus is salmon and trout. Rivers and lochs and estuaries. I like to fish the places most people wont ever venture. Deep into the hills and wilderness.
