I am a keen fly angler for salmon and trout. I am from County Down, Northern Ireland.

I am a qualified angling guide and casting instructor (NAGA, GAIC, ). Also an avid fly tyer. I enjoy catching fish on my own patterns. I specialise in Irish shrimp flies for salmon and salt water flies for seatrout.

I have demonstrated my fly-tying at many of the Loughs Agency angling fairs and promotional events throughout the United Kingdom, Ireland and Holland. I have fly-fished and guided anglers for many years across Ireland and I am now retired from working full time as a fishery protection officer for the Loughs Agency. I enjoy travelling to shows and meeting people with an interest in flytying and sharing tips on various patterns.l still fish the river Finn and the County Down coast.
