British Fly Fair International

The Premier Fly Tying Show

Markus Hoffman

Markus Hoffman

Since fly fishing(2007) and fly tying(2010) got hold of me it holds a firm grip of my body and soul. Fly tying and everything connected to it is pretty much what i live for.

We moved to Swedish Lappland in a house right by the river Vindelalven and here is where my dreams will come true.

Fly tying was right from the start something I did 100%

I had a few of my fly tying Idols helping me out when ever I had questions. Barry Ord Clarke and Martin Rudin is pretty much why I got madly in love with this beautiful and addictive hobby.

I started out with Realistic tying but soon realized that flies tied for fishing are much more rewarding. Nowadays I prefer tiny dries presented to a picky Char or trout, but salmon, pike, whitefish and grayling are also on my fishing schedule.

Looking forward to meeting you in 2026
