My name is Frank, I am 62 years old and I come from the beautiful Sauerland in Germany. I’m a brand ambassador and pro tyer for Hends Products.

I’ve been fishing since I was 8 years old. Fly fishing and I have been passionately practicing fly tying for over 46 years.

As a member of Hends Pro Tyer, it is always a pleasure for me to try out new materials. My fishing waters are mainly in the Sauerland, where I fish for trout and grayling.

Participation in national and international fly tying championships as well as national and international fly fishing fairs. I don’t have any so-called favorite flies.

Mainly I tie dry flies, nymphs (woven body) small trout strands and occasionally semi realistic flies
