British Fly Fair International

The Premier Fly Tying Show

Anders Huckis Grunning

Anders Huckis Grunning

My name is Anders, but mostly called Huckis, a nickname from the villagename Hucksjöåsen, where I live in Sweden.

It’s in the middle of Sweden, and not far from a nice little river with Grayling and Trout, and other species. The lakes close by have also some Char.

I started fly tying long time ago. My grandfather made me a vise when I was 5/6 years old.

I started tying again when I moved back to Sweden 2003. Some years abroad and some years without the possibility or time to enjoy fly-fishing or tying. I found back when I landed in Hucksjöåsen 2005, and found others with the same interest.

Done most everything that can be tied to a hook or tube.

Nowadays most simple flies for my fishingtrips. All kind of species, but he last year was mostly focused on Trout in some lakes around, or big Perch in the river. Midges late autumn, and early Stoneflies in spring, is also something I enjoy.

I’m glad to be invitated again to the BFFI.

See you there

Anders Huckis Grünning
