The Premier Fly Tying Show

Heart of England Fly Fishing School

Heart of England Fly Fishing School

February 6, 2014 admin

The Club (HoEFFS) is based in Dunchurch, Warwickshire and was set up by Paul Vernon (of Lyttles of Dunchurch fishing shop) in 2004. Classes are held on Wednesday evenings, and cater for all levels of tying from beginners and novices up to advanced level tyers.

Demonstration evenings are held once a month when a professional tyer is invited to come and demonstrate techniques and patterns. Private and small group tuition can be arranged at other times.

Additional activities for the club members include introduction to etymology and casting coaching. One past member competed in the FFFT league in 2008/9 and achieved a commendable 6th place in the 1st Amateur division while only in his second year of tying.

For further information please see Paul at the Crystal River stand at BFFI or call on 01788 717044 at other times.
