My name is John Schets 58 years old born in Breda, a city in the south of the Netherlands. Fly tying and fly fishing and the casting has been my great passion for over 20 years.

I like to fish for pike and perch in the Netherlands, and for trout and grayling in country’s around the Netherlands.

Most favorite fishing is for salmon in Scotland and Norway. This is how I came into contact with tying the classic patterns. At the BFFI I hope to contribute and speak to all of you.
