Graham Forbes

I have been fly fishing and flytying for 40 years now.
I started fishing with my late father on the river Eden in Fife where a one pound wild brownie was a real specimen.
I am now based in Inverness and now fish mostly for Atlantic Salmon on the river Ness, Thurso, Spey and Carron. I am very fortunate to have these rivers literally on my door step.
Flytying is a real passion as well as a way of unwinding after a long day at work. I enjoy utilising new and modern materials in my dressings of long established patterns.
I participate in various flytying events locally and nationally during the year and love nothing better than sharing my skills with others, particularly the next generation of our wonderful sport.
Graham.
