I’m Chris Flay, proud father and avid flyfisherman.

I first picked up a fly rod at the age of four.

when my father used to take me to the rivers Derwent and Dove in Derbyshire for Trout and Grayling.

I have been tying my own flies for the last 4 years, and a Pro Tyer for Kindale Fly Fishing.

I would say my style is bright and colourful. I mainly tie river nymphs and dries however, I’m still partial to tying lures and wets for big reservoir trout.
