North Kent FDG
The North Kent Branch was formed in 1984 when a small group of fly dressing enthusiasts met in Geoff Bucknall’s tackle shop in Lewisham. The Branch grew to be one of the largest in the country, with a membership exceeding seventy. Membership is open to anybody with an interest in fly-tying and/or fly-fishing.
Today, many of the members also belong to the trout section of the Kingfisher Angling & Preservation Society & spend the fishing season at the syndicates’ waters at Eynsford & Ide Hill. This makes for a very jovial & friendly atmosphere which is welcoming & appealing to new members.
