The Premier Fly Tying Show

Bolton Fly Tyers

Bolton Fly Tyers

February 15, 2011 admin

We are an established Fly Tying club now based in Brinscall nr. Chorley, meeting the first & third Tuesday in the month throughout the year from 7:00pm – 9:30pm at:

St Joseph’s Community Social Club, School Lane, Brinscall, Chorley, PR6 8QP

Our core aim is to provide a club where members come to tie flies. We have a great facility with plenty of room to set up your vice!

Through the Winter we invite guest tiers and speakers to give a demonstration, supported by our display equipment guaranteeing a good view.

Labouring over a vice can be thirsty work and the club bar is open for all meetings.

New members are very welcome irrespective of experience, if you fancy a go at flytying please feel free to come along, We have some equipment and materials available for those wishing to have a go.

Our members would be delighted to offer advice on various aspects of flyfishing and tying from the smallest Trout and Grayling nymphs and dries to fully dressed Classic Salmon flies and Pike and Perch streamer patterns.
